Crushed UK are a national retailer of Fruit Pouches nutritional snacks. Their existing website was in need of a revamp, with the addition of eCommerce and higher integration of their social media and latest news feeds.
The new website for Crushed UK was a pixel-perfect recreation of the designs provided by the graphic design agency and was build using a custom child theme on the Genesis Framework. As the design was image heavy, image sprites were used to increase the loading speed of the site and keep the integrity of the design.
The site uses Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to provide ease of use for the client, allowing them to change supplier information, product information and add latest news to the site whenever required. Social media feeds pull in the latest information from both Twitter and Instagram, encouraging users to engage with the product. A videos page also utilises the company YouTube channel to build the brand.
The new site content is optimised for SEO and also is responsive for use on mobiles and tablets.
